Three fans have been injured in post-match clashes between Lazio and Roma supporters outside the stadium, after the Giallorossi won the match 2-1.

One Lazio fan was in a serious condition after being taken to hospital, receiving a deep cut to his neck, but as soon as further news were available, he was adjudged in safe conditions.

It is uncertain who started the violence, but police have begun investigating the circumstances surrounding the incidents. Ten people have already been arrested for their alleged involvement in the saga inside and outside the stadium. This morning a real arsenal of knives, petrol bombs and much more was revealed from the Police. Some Lazio fans had hidden all that in various areas surrounding the Olimpico.

Four of the arrested supporters were part of a Giallorossi supporter group, which anticipated the Biancocelesti faithful and allegedly attacked.

A car with a mother two young children (respectively 7 and 9 years old) who were passing next to the Olimpico only by chance, were also allegedly attacked. Luckily, the passengers in the car were able to escape before the car was engulfed in flames and completely destroyed.

The match was brought forward several hours to 18:00 CET for security reasons, which was originally meant to start at 20:45.
